The LL.M. (Master of Laws) in International Human Rights Law is a one-year, English-taught program. It requires 60 ECTS credits and provides a comprehensive understanding of the global legal mechanisms protecting human dignity and fundamental freedoms. The curriculum focuses on international public law, humanitarian law, human rights advocacy, and regional human rights systems, equipping students with the advanced legal and analytical tools to navigate complex global justice issues. The program emphasizes a practical approach, incorporating legal clinics, moot court competitions, and seminars with leading human rights lawyers and NGO experts. Students gain real-world experience through mandatory internships in international courts, diplomatic missions, human rights NGOs, or intergovernmental organizations like the UN, and must complete a final master's thesis. Graduates are prepared for diverse careers as human rights advocates, legal advisors, international civil servants, and policy analysts within the global legal ecosystem.
