• A university degree is required: an official Spanish degree, a degree from a European Higher Education Area institution that gives access to master's study in the issuing country, or a degree from outside the EHEA without homologation, once VIU checks that it is equivalent to a Spanish official degree and gives access to postgraduate study in the issuing country. Each master lists the degrees that give direct access
• applicants from other degrees may be admitted with bridging courses (complementos formativos) set by the Admission Committee. Foreign students whose first language is not Spanish must also provide a Spanish B2 (CEFR) certificate, unless exempt (a degree from a Spanish university, a Hispanic philology, translation or Spanish linguistics degree, or VIU's own language level test).

The official programme record lists English. It does not publish a programme-specific minimum language-test score, so no score is invented here.
