Admission requirements

Programme-specific requirements recorded in SIT Connect.

  • You need a completed bachelor's degree of at least 180 ECTS credits (or an equivalent qualification from an internationally recognised university) in a field that meets the chosen programme's academic prerequisites
  • a Higher National Diploma alone is not enough. Final-year bachelor's students can apply and may receive a conditional offer, which becomes final once they prove the degree is completed before the programme starts. Proof of English is required unless an approved waiver applies. Applications are made online through InnoEnergy's Masters+ admissions portal
  • no admission exam is currently required, and eligible applicants are ranked on grades, the content of previous studies, the quality of previous universities and other relevant experience. InnoEnergy's application portal currently lists five Masters+ programmes (Renewable Energy, Sustainable Energy Systems, Smart Electrical Networks and Systems, European Master's in Nuclear Energy, Advanced Energy Systems and AI)
  • the Master's in Energy for Smart Cities is not among them, and InnoEnergy lists UPC for those five programmes. Confirm with InnoEnergy which programme applies before applying.
