Universidad Internacional de la Empresa (UNIE) via Grupo Planeta

UNIE Universidad, formally the Universidad Internacional de la Empresa, is a private university in Madrid recognised under Spanish law by Ley 2/2020 of 25 November (published as BOE-A-2021-3495). It opened its doors to students for the 2022-2023 academic year following several years of preparatory work by Planeta Formación y Universidades, the higher education division of Grupo Planeta, a Spanish family-owned multinational active in publishing, culture, training and entertainment. UNIE is therefore a young institution but sits inside an established network of twenty-two education providers across Spain, Andorra, France, Italy, North Africa, the United States and Colombia, which together teach well over 135,000 students from more than 110 countries and maintain relationships with around 9,800 companies. The university describes itself as Madrid's university with business in its DNA, and it is closely linked to sibling schools including EAE Business School Madrid, OBS Business School, Inesdi Digital Business School and the Core Entertainment Science School. It teaches across six knowledge areas: business and technology; engineering, science and technology; marketing and communication; education; health; and law and international relations. Programmes span bachelor's degrees such as dentistry, psychology, business administration, international business and international relations, along with master's degrees, doctorates, dual degrees and continuing education. Teaching is delivered on three Madrid campuses, at Arapiles in the Chamberí district, Castellana, and a larger site at Tres Cantos.
